Check out my henna faerie! Chris snapped this shot right after she was done, because of course I was silly and got my first henna tattoo in a spot where I couldn't see it. I'm really happy with the design and the placement, so I hope it lasts for a few weeks. It's not as dark as it could be, because I got cold and put a hoodie on over my halter top, and it started pulling the dried paste off. But since I'm so pale, it still shows really well... it's a nice mellow brown-orange.
Chris's Mom is now back in New York, which means life will return to normal until his brother visits next month... and normal life means BEAD TIME! What should I make first?

ReplyDeleteHa ha, guys, the comment that I deleted was a generic "nice post" with a link to an *escort service.* I don't know what sort of blog they think I'm running here! Guess my sexy, sexy back is going to start attracting a seedy clientele.
ReplyDeletejeesh, it's not like you were sporting a tramp stamp on the top of your bum or something ;P
ReplyDeleteI saw that before you deleted it. That was sort of creepy.
ReplyDeleteLOL I had one recently on my LJ that asked me if I was on drugs. I left it up so my friends could laugh at him, but the actual owner of the car* to which I'd referred emailed me and asked me to remove it. He said his friend thought the comment would be cute. I removed it.
ReplyDeleteSeeing your back, I sure hope you have a lot of sunscreen! Then again, if you dress like that as long as you have the tattoo, you'll have a reverse tan of it.
*I live in Virginia and saw a car with the license VGNA LVR and our slogan is Virginia is for Lovers, but that was not what I thought when I first saw it. It turned out to be someone with a university edress, and he didn't offer an answer, so I don't know.
Exactly my point, Julie!
ReplyDeleteSaraBeth, I think it's more funny than creepy. I like to laugh at spammers.
Marilee, if that person had bothered to read any of your other posts, they'd certainly know that you're on drugs ;)
I made the same conclusion about that plate, but then again, I've seen t-shirts advertised on-line that have the modified slogan on them.
As for my back, I had Chris sunscreen my entire torso before I put my shirt on, and then I walked around all day with a big canvas parasol, and I spent a lot of time in the shade of the buildings. I burned a tiny bit on my arms, scalp and face, but nothing bad. I take sun protection pretty seriously :)
Looks cute! I totally forgot that Ren Fest is running now. I want to go but Tom doesn't it....sigh :(
ReplyDeleteJolene
Then go without him ;)
