Queen Anne's Lace

Here is my completed Queen Anne's Lace bracelet from Marcia DeCoster's class in Tahoe. Look at that HUGE Swarovski button! I'm afraid I'm going to hurt myself with it.

Unlike Twinkle, Twinkle, I made no changes to this kit. I loved the colors just how they were, and surprisingly, Marcia's default size for the bracelet was perfect for my wrist. I'm used to bracelets being too big.

Spent today at the Street Fair, got a pretty Fair-Trade scarf and more niobium earrings from my favorite vendor. Also ate lunch at the new-ish creperie on 4th Avenue. Mmmm, delicious crepes.

  3. Thank you, Dawno!

Julie, a lot of Marcia's designs have that sort of feel to them... she does beautiful work with metallics and matte metallics.

  4. Wow, that is a giant Swarovski! The bracelet doesn't look like the flower, so maybe she means the queen, although she's not known for her lace.

  5. Marilee, Marcia was mocking her own naming abilities in class :)
