Today's Daily Special is The Inventors' Gala Ball. I know I always say something is my favorite, but I really am in love with this one. Those vintage West German disks were something I just had to have. It was hard to work them up into something to sell, I wanted to keep them so badly. But part of succeeding in jewelry is having unique and unusual components, so I made the sacrifice for my art.In other news, last night I was at Target, walking by the electronics department, and I was reminded of the fact that it had been quite some time since my tripod broke mid-shoot, and that I was way overdue for a replacement. The selection at hand wasn't great, but I picked one up and hope to test it out this weekend. There's a small pile of recent jewelry just waiting for photographs so it can be listed on my website and Etsy.
that's a beauty. i know what you mean about not wanting to part with certain bits- but you can't keep it all, right? alas, sad but true!
