Strangely Cold

It's cold and rainy and windy today, which is very odd for late April in Tucson. I don't know if it's remnants of El Nino, or freaky weather patterns caused by the Iceland volcano, or something else entirely. All I know is that it is NOT going to stop me from going to class tonight, because I need to be there to practice for this weekend's recital.

My Egg Moon pendant is almost done, now I just need to decide what to hang it from, and hope that the weather is nice enough for some photography.

  1. Starting cold and rainy here, too. Things always go through AZ first!

  2. Heh! I was just wondering if our weather is somehow being affected by the volcano. I'm loving it! The longer it takes to hear up, the better as far as I'm concerned.

  3. Ummm.....that would be "heat" up, not "hear" up.

LOL! Hard to type with a toddler standing at my elbow and chanting "PBJ!"

  4. Hmmm, PBJ sounds good! The volcano ash is flowing from the east and is declining, so as long as there's no more eruptions, we should be okay.

  5. SaraBeth, I'm in no rush for the 100+ temps of Summer, but I've been really enjoying the nice Spring days where it's in the 80s, with a little breeze. Ahhhh. Looks like we'll have that again for the weekend, which is good because I don't think I can handle another white-knuckled trip down the I-10 at 11pm with the sky pouring buckets down on me.

Marilee, I hope for everyone's sake that the volcano is done!
