Come out to dance and shop!

Will you be in Tucson on Saturday? If so, you should stop by Fluxx Productions at 414 E 9th St, where we'll be having an awesome, dancey day! There's workshops, performances, and vending... including my jewelry! If you just want to shop, come by during the lunch break from 12-1:45pm. If you'd also like to see some great local dancers and my teachers from Anaya Tribal busting some moves, show up at 7:30 for the hafla, which only costs $5, is expected to run until 10pm, and will also have vending! I'll be there, but at some point I'll have to leave the booth to take my turn on stage :)

I haven't tested my booth set-up yet, but I expect that I will have an assortment of tribal necklaces and all of my earrings, bracelets and anklets with me. I hope I'll see you there!

  1. What are the beads on the right? Enameled?

  3. Marilee, actually they're Kashmir beads with sequins and rhinestones set in them, you can see a close-up at the Etsy listing: http://www.etsy.com/listing/61424762/beaded-tribal-necklace-handmade-with

Sadly, when I went back to the beadstore for more, there were none to be had! :(

Aqauriann, I sure hope someone will get video! I don't know if the organizer has someone tapped to do it, and my friend who usually takes video will be at a different event.

  4. Oh, yes, those beads look great! It's good of you to warn people with large necks, too. A lot of people forget about the diameter of beads.

  5. Well, I usually try my jewelry on before I list it, so I can get an idea of how it fits and hangs, how easy it is to fasten, etc. I would hate for someone to buy a necklace because I said it was 18" and then find that it only fits a 16" neck.
